Getting Started

You’ll need an OLE Board conference set up for your class, with enrollments for your students. Use OLE if you have the need to record students speaking the language they are learning outside of the classroom.

To request an OLE conference for your class(es), please complete a Service Request Form.

For more information on the OLE Board, view this short QuickTime video tutorial.

We also have available an OLE Board Evaluation Criteria/Scoring Sheet. (PDF)
This scoring sheet can be used by instructors to evaluate student uses, and can also be distributed to students for self evaluation. This ten item checklist can be used to focus students attention to the tasks associated with using the OLE Board. This handout was developed by Dr. Paul Lyddon.

This Flash movie features Wendy Whitacre providing examples of assignments useing the OLE Board.

If you do not have the Adobe Flash Player, you can download it from Adobe's website.
